The VIMANA or the Alien spaceship - ofcourse ) and you have a great story base even before you start reading
By JWHIZ
Ram Rishi is a refreshing new face among the plethora of authors and titles lining up the book shelves and the digital stores on the internet. More often than not you may have felt as if you are reading the same story over and over again- only rehashed a bit here and there. I know, there are many out there who feel that way. So, finally I went for broke and chose a totally new one – by book and by author and I am quite relieved plus thrilled by the result. What I have on my laptop now is a fascinating story. So, what is so interesting about this book? Now lets see – combine a portion of the Indian history (The Chola dynasty - which not many have looked into, except for the school grade history books) and the WWII era INA army, along with a fictional modern era conspiracy and the unknown (guess what?? The VIMANA or the Alien spaceship - ofcourse ) and you have a great story base even before you start reading. For a first book, the author has made a great attempt and not shied away at touching some topics that not many dare to, even today. The author leaves you with a sense of anticipation and excitement for the next book that will complete the mystery. All the best Ram!

Historical Thriller....
By Selvakumar
'The Yantra' by Ram Rishi is a well researched thriller about ancient flying machines, secret merchant guilds and ancient cover-ups.
The book uncovers a piece of history where India was an overseas military power till the medieval ages !!!
Coming back to the theme - the flying machines - the author presented a rational explanation on why they are not seen today. Set in the present day, the antagonist mounts a hunt for a Vimana in a banned island within India, but the sequence of events forces him to reveal the facts from not only the Second world war, but from the 13th century, when the last great Indian empire collapsed. Ever since the hunt began, I felt like 'I' was looking for a real Vimana.
This book is not a piece of literature, but it does best what it is meant for – thrill and high octane action with many twists and turns in the plot.
You may not be able to put this book down unless you are done with the last page.
I will look forward for the second book in the series - the Epilogue already gave indications on what to expect.

The book is a fictional tale based on Hindu Epics ...
By Kumar
The book is a fictional tale based on Hindu Epics. Such novels are becoming increasingly popular. Unlike other books, this book is set in the present day India and has a more science-fiction type approach. This was refreshing. The plot also is complicated enough to arouse interest.
The e-book has several typos. Also, interestingly the author did not use his real name and used a pseudonym. Is it because he fears that Adarsh Liberals in his industry will treat him differently if they came to know to know about it ?
