Bravo!

Hart Main is a genius well beyond his 17 years.
His prose wash-over the reader as a refreshing juxtaposition to a generation that I’m not sure many adults including myself understand.
His book is an excellent, fast paced journey thru an experience that he relates in an easy to understand handbook on just what it takes both personally and financially to start a business. His drive and fortitude should be a genuine inspiration to anyone at any age. It especially gives his generation a hard look at sacrifice and dedication as he weaves capitalism in with social service to create a most unique enterprise. A timely creation that dispels the current trend to berate capitalism as a national evil by actually demonstrating how a for profit, thriving business can contribute to society to help young, old, poor and disabled. This should be recommended reading for all students who have even the slightest inclination toward business. I’m looking forward to Mr. Main’s next book as well as seeing him lead his generation into the future.

Great Book!

This Book is a great example of a kid wanting something, striving for it and then achieving it. This book has many great ideas and facts about starting your own business even at the young age of 13. I would recommend this book to any kid wanting to start a business or even any adult wanting to know what it is like to start a business.All who read will definitely learn something more about business.

Entrepreneur and Philanthropy at 13 years old

I first became aware of Hart Main through a close business associate who gave me a copy of his book. To learn that the young man was 13 years old and had started his own successful business was very surprising. Upon reading his book I was even more impressed how he laid out the basics for starting and growing his specialty candle company, ManCan. He recognizes his employees make the greatest contributions. He explains a simple step by step method how he has combined becoming an entrepreneur and philanthropy into his business model.
As a business consultant and author on leadership, I had to seek him out and meet with him. I was pleased to find a reserved young man, now 18 years old, starting college and studying economics. I enjoyed hearing about his business experiences and people he has encountered thus far. Hart had already made a positive contribution in his community by using profits from his business to feed the homeless. Imagine with me for a monument if every businessman and entrepreneur had a desire to make this world better for others . . . what a wonderful world it would be.
